We Have Begun a Journey
The southwest area of Missouri attracts millions of visitors every year. In fact, the Chamber of Commerce for the Branson area recorded 8.1 million official visitors for the year 2008. Branson has well over 90 separate attractions and claims more variety shows than Broadway, more lake front than Myrtle Beach, more activities than Disneyland, more country music than Nashville, and beautiful Ozark mountains and scenery.
With all of this as background we believe we have been given a vision from God for a huge venture of faith--a creation museum/ministry in the Branson area. So we have begun. The basic legal groundwork has been accomplished including becoming an official non-profit corporation in the State of Missouri, and gaining our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS. We are looking for land possibilities in the Branson area, and are well aware of the high price per acre. We are walking in faith to see this vision come to fruition, and believe that Creation Museum of the Ozarks is a vision pleasing to God, and that He will help us to see it become a reality.
Some considering our vision would think it impossible, but we believe God's Word that reminds us that what may seem impossible to man is possible with God within the boundary of His will. We believe that Creation Museum of the Ozarks will be a testimony to the truthfulness of God's Word. It will encourage and increase the faith of Christians in the Bible as it is shown that the Bible can be trusted in all matters, and particularly in matters related to science.
We live in days that see continual attacks from many different sources upon the authority of the Bible. Either God's Word is true all the way through, starting with Genesis, or it is not. The good news is that the evidence, first from the Bible itself, and then from a true understanding of the sciences, is on the side of believers. The evidence, for those honest enough to search with an open mind, is that there is a Creator, and that He supernaturally created everything as the Bible records: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
We hope you will catch the vision with us for this much needed museum/ministry. We need your prayers and financial support for this to become a reality. We believe many souls can be saved from a lost eternity through such a facility, that faith will be strengthened, and that Creation Museum of the Ozarks will be an effective ministry along with others in the work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
