A Vision for Branson, Missouri
Concept Drawings for Museum
CONCEPT DRAWINGS BY CREATIVE INK
Our architect, Bob Stockdale and his staff at Creative Ink, Springfield, Missouri, have prepared this initial concept drawing and plan based on a ten acre plot. We are praying for direction from the Lord concerning land possibilities in the Branson area and would value your prayer support as well.

A SMALL STEP BEFORE A BIG ONE
Creation Museum of the Ozarks ministry will soon have its first temporary official business address, headquarters office, and mini-creation museum! It will be located in Strafford, Missouri, a short distance from Interstate Highway 44, which is just a few minutes’ drive east of Springfield, Missouri. Here is a picture of the building. We will be putting up a big sign over the door shortly.
We will also keep you updated through our newsletter (you can sign up above if you haven’t already) as to when we will be open for visitors. Presently we are in the process of decorating and preparing exhibits. We will dedicate our use of this building to God for the ministry He has called us to engage in for Him. We have given up to 30 or more presentation events so far this year with more to come. This means that through this and the other avenues of ministry we do such as the radio ministry and newsletter, thousands are being influenced to believe the Bible as truly God’s Word and that they can continue in faith in the One who created all things. We are considering this new facility a temporary move until the Lord enables us to move to the Branson, Missouri area—which has always been the focus of our vision. None of our team is paid staff. All the financial support we receive is put to work for the ministry. Please continue to support this growing ministry as the Lord leads you.

THE BATTLE FOR TRUTH CONTINUES
Last Sunday I was giving a presentation in a church in Marshfield, Missouri, and began with this statement: “I believe the creation/evolution issue is on the cutting edge of the cultural battlefield that exists in the United States of America today.” The last few years we have heard frequently of surveys revealing the alarming exodus of young people from evangelical churches once they get old enough to make decisions for themselves. Something is obviously influencing these young people and causing them to turn away from church and the Christian faith they have been raised in. The scientific law is true in the material universe—every effect must have a cause.
What is the cause? I believe it is the inundating floodtide of humanistic evolutionary thinking that continually bombards the population with false, unsupported information that is nevertheless spoken of as if it is without doubt the absolute truth—even though those supporting such would deny there are absolutes. So what should we as Christians do in the face of this situation? Throw up our hands in despair. Absolutely not!
The Bible is clear as to what our response and action should be. We are to “wage the good warfare” (1 Tim. 1:18); “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Tim. 6:12); “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier” (2 Tim. 2:3,4). In other words, we are to engage in the battle with faith, discipline and determination. We must put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6) that will enable us to gain victories over the powers of darkness.
The creation ministry engages this battle at the core issue—teaching that there really is a Creator, the Bible is the true history of this world and universe, and Jesus Christ proved that He was who He said He was—God the Son who gave His life on the cross for our salvation, and rose victorious over the grave. Please give us your prayerful support for strength to continue this vital ministry. Creation Museum of the Ozarks ministries are influencing many with the truth.

NEW BOOK
| Did God Really Say That? Is a new book by Dr. Rod Butterworth that provides answers to questions many may have wondered about. For example, have you ever wondered as a Christian whether Adam and Eve really were the first two humans? Or where Cain found his wife? Is the Earth really 4.6 billion years old? Are humans related to apes? Why is there death in the world? Was Noah’s flood worldwide? Where did languages come from? What about cavemen? Did Jesus really rise from the dead? Written in a down-to-earth style this new book is available to purchase through local book stores, Amazon.com, and Westbowpress.com. In Springfield, Missouri it is carried by Christian Publisher’s Outlet (CPO), and Borders. (All proceeds to go directly to support Creation Museum of the Ozarks Ministry) |
